Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Karen brings an extensive background in advertising to her career as a real estate agent. A former senior partner of 23 years with J. Walter Thompson, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, Karen’s role with the company took her throughout the country placing her in Chicago, San Francisco, and ultimately in Coral Gables, Florida, where she opened an office. A top-performing professional in the advertising industry, Karen garnered a number of awards for her work, including Top of the Dial award in 1997 by the Northern California Broadcasters Association, and recognition as the founder and first president of Bay Area STAR in San Francisco.
